Mandzukic scored 12 La Liga goals in 28 appearances for Atletico during 2014-15, initially enjoying an excellent start at the club, per WhoScored.com. However, his last goal for the Rojiblancos came on Feb. 21, despite making 11 appearances since then.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone recently told AS (h/t Daniel Prescott of the Daily Mail): "He annoys me easily, that's the reality. He is a great player and a decent lad. He himself is down about not maintaining the form he displayed up until February."
Juve will provide the perfect platform for Mandzukic to find his goalscoring touch again. The Italian champions show no signs of letting up on hording trophies on the domestic front and will by buoyed by their recent run to the Champions League final.
Mandzukic's physical, hard-working way will provide a quality option for the club, particularly if Carlos Tevez departs.
