Sharon Marie Huddle is an American law attorney, who is widely known as the wife of Jr. Joseph, and became famous for this name as the “Golden State Killer.”

Sharon Marie Huddle was born in 1953 and raised in her hometown by her parents.

There is not much data about her life; her parents’ names are unknown. She is introverted and makes her life private and low-key. 

However, she pursued her career in practicing family law as an adult, and for this, her parents supported her at an immense level.

She is now considered a family law attorney, and her law firm has a specialization in divorce, family law, and real estate law. 

According to the California State Bar, Sharon holds an active license that permits her to follow the procedures and practice law in that state.

In 1982,  it was admitted to the bar by the family lawyer. In 1987, the license remained inactive for eight months and then was active again. 

However, the license does not follow any disciplinary action.

During the practice of law, Sharon founded an organization named National Coalition Against Surrogacy. 

Sharon co-founded the organization at that time when the state was considering passing a law on surrogacy for women.

Sharon’s Marriage

Sharon Marie met a police officer – Joseph James DeAngelo when she was a student and proceeding with her studies in law.

The police officer and Sharon started dating and intend to get married.

In 1973, the couple got married at a very young age. Sharon was 20 years old at the wedding, while DeAngelo was 27 years old.

After getting married, God blessed them with three daughters.

The first daughter was born in 1981, the second in 1986, and the third in 1989.

All of the children are pursuing their careers in their fields of interest. At present, they are living a standardized and cheered life.

One of the couple’s daughters is an ER doctor, while another is a Ph.D. candidate at a university. 

At the time of his arrest,  he was residing with one of his daughters.

Why was Sharon Marie’s Husband Arrested?

 DeAngelo was arrested on  24th April 2018, and he was sentenced to life in prison without promising parole. 

He was arrested since he was convicted of 13 murders and abducting an equal amount of people. After years he was suspected and found guilty.

Moreover, DeAngelo was also held responsible for approximately 50 s*xual assaults and over 100 burglaries.

The crime he had committed between 1974 and 1986, and in 12 years, he had reached the extent of illegal and criminal activities.

Before attempting any crime, DeAngelo served as a police officer and a U.S. Navy veteran.

However, there is no report on whether Sharon Marie was aware of her husband’s criminal activities or not. Probably she did not know about his foul and illegal activities.

As the team reached him,  the 72-year-old truck mechanic asked them for the roast he had cooked inside.

Authorities say he is a night roamer and considered the Original Night Stalker and is also named Golden State Killer,

Before going to California, he had r*ped at least 46 women and murdered a young couple in the Sacramento area.

In his home,  at night, he murdered ten people with brutality.

DeAngelo had an Aluminum fishing boat and dirt bike, always kept his lawn trimmed and cleaned and crawled to several boulders to give the edge to grass by hand.

She spoke out after apprehending her husband in 2018. While giving a statement to the Daily Mail about DeAngelo’s arrest, she shared that she would have trust issues and severe PTSD.

 Sharon said: “I will never be the same person; I now live every day with the knowledge of how he attacked and severely damaged hundreds of innocent people’s lives and murdered 13 innocent people who were loved and have now been missed for 40 years or more.”

Sharon Marie Huddle lives a life out of public and keeps the thing private; after her husband’s arrest, Sharon went into despair after hearing her husband’s crimes. And will never be the same as she was. Her husband’s crime adversely affected her psyche and health and changed her mentality. Although she lived a great life, her love for her husband was unstoppable.
