I am highly motivated, energetic and committed to the things that interest me. I am an avid participant in sport and am also dedicated to academic achievement. I have been lucky to be able to participate through school and local clubs in a range of sports and other activities including basketball, tennis and surfing in Australia. I have also been fortunate to attend school and participate in academic and sports programmes outside of Australia.
I have lived for varying times in Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany and in Bahrain in the Middle East.
I am fluent in oral and written German as well as English.
My Father is Australian and my Mother is German and I have family in both countries, as a result I have been fortunate to be able to travel to Europe regularly and lived in the UK for four years.
Whilst living overseas, I have been able to develop my interest in different sports and have excelled in Cricket and Soccer and have performed at a high level within both school and club based competitions.
My passion though, is Basketball which I have played since the 7th grade at school. I have played with my High School where I captained the school in the final year. I also play club basketball for the Warrandyte Venom in Melbourne and I am a key member of both Domestic and Representative teams, generally playing as Centre or as a Small forward.
I have recently returned from a club tour of the United States where I captained our Club’s Junior Varsity team. The team played a number of Schools in New York City, New Jersey, Kentucky and Ohio and I played at both Varsity and Junior Varsity level with success.
My school and my club recognize me as a quiet and intelligent person, who is known to be reliable, friendly and a committed and creative team player with integrity, who gives a 100% at all times whether it is study, sports training or matches.
My intent is to play Basketball at the highest level that my ability and drive allows and to achieve Academic success in a Business degree Majoring in Sports Management.
