Prospect Snapshot: IF Thomas Saggese

The Cardinals acquired Saggese and Tekoah Roby in the deal that sent Jordan Montgomery to the Texas Rangers at the trade deadline, and both have impact potential. Saggese, 22, has a limited defensive profile and average athleticism, but he could be an offensive-minded second baseman after hitting .306/.374/.530 with 34 doubles, 26 home runs and 111 RBI in 139 games in the upper minors last year.
