Personal Statement

I came across the sport of lacrosse the summer going into my freshman year of high school. I immediately fell in love with the game and began playing for my school that year. Ever since then, I have grown as an athlete and have worked at developing my skills and knowledge of the game. I have quickly become a valuable asset to my team and learned the meaning of sacrifice and brotherhood by playing and practicing with my teammates.

I aspire to play at the next level, hopefully for a college that will be able to assist me on my journey as an athlete, as a young man, and as a student. I take pride in my studies and my athletics, using my skills and hard work ethic to excel in the classroom and on the field. By recruiting me, colleges will gain an athlete who takes his studies and his commitment to athletic excellence seriously. A young man who works with incomparable tenacity, and a team member who others can rally around and find good company in. I hope that I am considered by many programs, and that I can one day be a valuable asset to a college team.
