Neve Campbell is joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy. She’ll play one of Patrick Dempsey’s sisters and is set to appear on multiple episodes, according to TV Line. In one of Grey’s signature early days romantic monologues, Derek mentioned he has four sisters; so far, the show has introduced two of them (Embeth Davidtz and Caterina Scorsone), mentioned that a third one is a psychiatrist named Kathleen, and completely neglected to tell us anything about this magical fourth Shepherd sister. We’re almost surprised it’s taken Campbell this long to land at Seattle Grace — she’s a master of the Grey’s Anatomy–style slightly choked-up cry-talking.
