Noel Dalton's Men's Lacrosse Recruiting Profile
Daniel Foster Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to select a college where I can receive a great education as well as play lacrosse at the next level. I want to major in Business and minor in Entrepreneurship, with the goal of getting my MBA.
I would be a good candidate for the team because I am very determined, and I have an excellent work ethic. Even though I have been the varsity backup goalie for the past two years at Blue Ridge School for Coach Dom Starsia, I have continued to contribute to the team through hard work and enthusiasm in practices and in games. I also put in a lot of weekly practice sessions over the last two summers to improve my skills having been coached by Timmy Troutner, a Redwoods PLL goalie, and Ronnie Fernando, a former MLL goalie.
I have been raised in a family of athletes who were all very competitive. I was taught that working hard, giving my best effort, and following through on my commitments in everything I do, was extremely important. I have worked during summer vacation for my father's building materials distribution company and know first hand what is needed to be successful. I have attended academically and athletically challenging private boarding schools for 6 years which has prepared me for the college experience. Blue Ridge School has taught me how to organize my time, study efficiently, how to seek help when needed, and the importance of leadership.
