Kim Kardashian is no stranger to making a statement on the red carpet and her Met Gala look this year was one for the memory books. The mom of four isn’t shy to step out in jewels from head to toe. At the Met, she was smothered in pearls and this November she’s swanning around in Swarovski.

Kim Kardashian stuns in pearls at Met Gala

The Kardashians season 4 episode 8 sees Kim enjoying more “pinch me” moments in life. She’s shooting a Time Magazine cover and getting ready to attend her tenth Met Gala.

The episode sees her in a dress fitting for the occasion. Kim explains she is working with the Schiaparelli team on her look.

The Hulu star says: “It’s the most amazing all-pearl dress,” as fans get a glimpse of her look in its early stages.

Kim joked: “All we needed was that cat,” referring to the late Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette.

Kim’s biggest critic

While getting her dress fitted, Kim FaceTimes her daughter, North West, and gets a super positive response to her striking look.

North gasps and says: “I love it.”

In total shock, Kim responds: “What? That’s the first time I’ve ever heard you say you love it!”

In a confessional, the mom of four explains that North “is usually her biggest critic.”

She happily adds: “Now I’ve got the stamp of approval.”

North changes her tune

Kim appeared to be on cloud nine after North’s feedback on her look. But, things took a swift turn in a preview of next week’s episode.

As the reality TV star dons her bejeweled ensemblé, North tells her straight: “It’s looking like, beachy, and the pearls look fake.”

There are more hurdles in store for Kim as her car “overheats” on the way to the Met and she’s seen looking around for Kylie Jenner’s car to hop into.
