Obonjan Island Resort Hotel Review, Šibenik, Croatia
Jessica Wood Food and drink are expensive but generally of a high standard. A plentiful buffet breakfast (8am-11am) is available at The Kitchen, with tables on a raised wooden deck, overlooking the pool; it’s a lovely way to start the day. The spread includes fresh fruit, muesli and pastries, plus cooked-to-order omelettes and proper espresso coffee. The restaurant also serves à la carte dinner – expect platters of grilled meat or seafood, colourful salads and tasty desserts.
Bok, above the main beach, does a similar à la carte brunch, lunch and dinner. In the centre of the island, two little kiosks – the Curry Bowl (serving delicious Sri Lankan fare) and the Pavilion Pizza – offer informal dining at benches under the trees.
The Drift Bar (open 8am-1am), overlooking the main beach, serves coffee and (pricey) cocktails, while the Pool Bar (open 12pm-7pm) does drinks, smoothies and fruit bowls. For fresh healthy juices, visit the Green Bar next to the Zen Den. Near reception, there's a small store selling mineral water and chilled beers.
