A post was shared on Reddit related to Peter Salvino. It was found that his dead body was discovered in a Chicago harbor after he went missing from a house party over the weekend. 

According to sources, the local authorities found his dead body on Tuesday, December 20. It was confirmed by his family that Peter was 25 years old at the time of his death.

He was last sighted leaving a house party early Sunday morning in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The search for the missing Northwestern Ph.D. student failed as the family couldn’t hear from Peter the next day, as per some social media posts.

Around 12:15 AM, Peter Face-Timed his friend while he left the party house and walked to his apartment. But he didn’t reach his apartment and went missing. 

On Tuesday, a body was pulled out of Diversey Harbor in Chicago, and the official confirmed the identification of the dead body and said it was Peter Salvino.

However, the investigation is still ongoing, and the police and Peter’s family have not shared any details regarding the cause of his death. 

Peter Salvino’s phone was last located near the Chicago harbor

After the death of Salvino, his family said his phone’s last location was near the Chicago harbor. 

A photo showed that Peter was last sighted at The Wiener’s Circle, 2622 N. Clark St. He hung out with his friends at a party, and the following day he went missing.

The authorities said Peter went to the park, but he disappeared before reaching back to his apartment. 

CCTV cameras in his apartment’s area were checked to see Peter’s movement. Later, the authorities said Peter was on FaceTime with his friend around 12:15 AM as his friend wanted to be sure he arrived at his home safely. 

Peter Salvino autopsy

According to sources, Peter Salvino’s autopsy was not revealed.

The police shared a statement in which they said the cause of Peter Salvino’s death could not be disclosed because the investigation is currently ongoing.
