Pharrell has been married to his wife, Helen Lasichanh, for many years. They first met in Miami during the early 2000s through mutual friends but only started dating later because Helen was already in a relationship.
Pharrell recalls being instantly drawn to Helen and feeling deeply connected with her.
“I was just so enamored by the moment I was having with her. I was like, ‘Who and what is that?’ I just knew. I knew at some point something was going to happen. She just reminded me so much of myself – different, marches to the beat of her own drum. It was different than the rest of the girls who were, like, completely made up. She stood out.”

The couple also shares a love for music, mainly being huge fans of the hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Pharrell and Helen now have four children together.
Their first son, Rocket, was born on November 15, 2008. In September 2016, the couple announced they were expecting again but did not disclose how many children they were expecting.
It was later revealed that they had welcomed triplets earlier in the month, on January 31, 2017.
Pharrell and Helen’s relationship is a testament to the power of patience and the universe’s timing.
Despite not starting their relationship immediately, they eventually found their way back to each other and built a beautiful life together with their growing family.
Pharrell, who is a coach on The Voice, spoke to PEOPLE about their relationship, expressing his love for Helen in all her aspects, positive, negative, and neutral.
When he was young, he used to say things like “she’s mine,” but now he acknowledges that they share a space in love where he doesn’t possess her, yet she makes him feel like she’s his.
