One of the secrets to the longevity and popularity of Pokemon GO is because the game is constantly being updated with new content. This includes things such as Events and new Pokemon. A Pokemon that is set to make its Pokemon GO debut is Helioptile. This Electric/Normal dual-type Pokemon is coming to the game in the upcoming Power Plant event. Getting it during that event shouldn’t be too hard. But, evolving it into Heliolisk, on the other hand, will take a lot more work. How to Evolve Helioptile Into Heliolisk Pokemon GO

You will have the best odds of catching Helioptile during the Power Plant event. This event is going to start on January 19th, 2022, at 10 am local time and end on February 1st, 2022, also at 10 am local time. In most other Pokemon titles that have Helioptile, all you would normally need in order to evolve it into Heliolisk is a Sun Stone. However, this works somewhat differently than usual in Pokemon GO.

There, besides the Sun Stone, you will also need to collect 50 Helioptile Candy to get it to evolve. Normally, you would need to spend a lot of time grinding to get this much candy. But, since Helioptile is such a prominent part of this event, we can expect to see Helioptile Candy as a reward in the event-related Field and Timed Research. As for the Sun Stone, at this point, we can just speculate, but it is also likely going to be a reward as well. And, if it isn’t, starting at Level 10, you can acquire it by spinning PokeStops or Gyms, and by opening Gifts. Though it is a very rare drop, so getting a hold of one can take some effort.
