Police seek possible witnesses to fatal summer shooting
Sophia Dalton Police are searching for the pair in order to question them in the murder case of 32-year-old Demetrius Toliver.
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Investigators are asking folks to be on the lookout for two potential witnesses to a murder of a 32-year-old man in July.
According to Clayton County Police, officers were dispatched to a home in the 4400 block of Chester Lane on July 22 after getting reports of gunfire and an accident.
When police got there, they found 32-year-old Demetrius Toliver inside a car, dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators believe the car rolled backward after the shooting, coming to a stop after hitting a neighbor's home.
After further investigation, officials determined Toliver was visiting Wadris Jovan Davis and Tenarius Lamar Richardson who were renting a the Chester Lane home, where the shooting happened. Police are searching for Davis and Richardson in order to question them on Toliver's murder.
Authorities consider them to be "transient," however, police believe they are well known by their rap aliases. Davis goes by "T-Rock" and recently released a rap mix tap, police said. Davis' alias is "Seattle."
