Description
The UAW Local 2069 Veterans Committee would like to invite you to join us May 27 for our annual Memorial Day Flag raising ceremony and Ride to the Wall, beginning on the lawn of the Union Hall in Dublin. There will be a ceremony at 8 AM and the Poker Run will pull out at 9 AM. Everyone is welcome to attend the Ceremony and/or participate in the Poker Run.
If you are interested in riding in the Poker Run here are the details.
*Registration for the ride begins at 6:30 AM
*Ceremony at 8:00 AM
*Poker Run pulling out at 9:00 AM, heading to D.C. to join in the demonstration parade hosted by AmVets.
*Host motel in DC will be the Quality Inn Mt.Vernon in Alexandria,Va.
Rooms are $85 per night and can be reserved by you by calling (703) 765-9000.
We have blocked 50 rooms which are listed under the UAW Local 2069 Veterans Committee.
These rooms are on first come first serve basis, so don’t delay!
