Rory "Crash" O'Donnell's Football Recruiting Profile
Emily Baldwin Personal Statement
To know a little about me, I am a Double Silver Palm Eagle Scout. I got my Eagle when I was 14, on October 22nd, 2015. I am still active in my troop, which is Troop 373. I am helping scouts achieve their goals and will never stop, for scouting has become a part of my life. I have held the positions of Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Chaplains Aide 3 times.
I am now currently serving as Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, the highest position a scout can hold in a troop. I will hold this position until I turn 18 in October 2019.
When it comes to my faith, I am Catholic. I believe my Christian faith is moving me in the right direction. Not much to explain about my religion, just thought you should know.
In college, I would like to get a degree in music. I believe music is a talent of mine. Singing has always been a passion of mine so I hope that after college and hopefully after playing football for the NFL, I can write my own music and make 80's Heavy Metal famous again. I would also like to get a degree in business. I have always considered myself a great salesman. I have sold over $4,000.00 worth of popcorn for the Boy Scouts and sold 50 "Warrior Cards" for my football team this year that sell for $30.00 a piece. I did this within a time period of three days. Last year I sold 40. No one on the football team has ever sold 50 until I did it.
I have been playing full contact football in pads since 5th grade. During my middle school years I played with Littleton Thunder. As each year went by, I learned and exceeded in the sport. Football has taught me a valuable skill in life. Football has taught me that if I want to be good at football, it takes commitment. Commitment has gotten me to a lot of places in life. Commitment has helped me get the rank of Eagle Scout, get good grades, and take the time to join the program known as NCSA. For me to get excepted into an exceptional college, I need to put in a lot of effort towards my athleticism and my schoolwork. Now that I play the great sport known as football, I can appreciate the game and the players in the NFL because I know they had to put in a lot of hard work to get where they are at.
I think I am a great candidate for your college because I am a well rounded person of character that is fully committed to being the best student and the best football and team player that I can possibly be.
