Rosalyn B. Pickering – Metropolitan Funeral
Andrew Mccoy To the Family of Rosalyn Pickering
I was sorry to hear of the passing of Pickering. I was a co-worker of hers at St. Brides Correctional Center for a number of years. I found her to be a friend, kind, compassionate, humorous, joyous and faithful. I will miss her. Our lives are so uncertain, unsure, and not understandable, and God alone knows the pattern of our days. It is difficult to realize that she is no longer here with us, and yet she is so close to us in spirit, having only gone beyond the sound of our voices and the touch of our hands. Death is always a sobering experience, but in the hands, of God, it too becomes a time for rejoicing.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this? ” St. John 11:25-26
