Ryan Reynolds‘ parents, Tamara and Jim Reynolds are both natives of British Columbia. Tamara worked as a retail salesperson before retiring to focus on her family. 

Jim had a long career in the food industry, where he worked at a wholesaler level and then eventually opened his own successful catering company.
