They met many, many years ago through a mutual friend. Although there was an immediate, mutual attraction, neither of them was available at the time and when Steve moved to New York in 1997, they fell out of touch. On a trip back to Los Angeles, in the winter of 2001, they ran into each other. As luck would have it, they were both single and, after dinner the next evening, they began a long distance relationship. Eventually, in July of 2002, Steve moved in with Sab to their beautiful home in the hills of Silverlake. They became registered domestic partners in April of 2005.
