He was a devoted husband to his late wife Maggie and a cherished father to his children Ann, Liam, Cyril, and Noeleen. Tragically, his son John has already found eternal peace.

Throughout his life, Dan experienced the loss of his brother Bill, as well as his sisters Nora and Ann, who all preceded him in death.
