Even with Cooper Kupp back, Matthew Stafford has not been scoring on the level of fantasy starters in 2023. This could point to the shifting in the offense or to the decline in his performance. It is probably a mixture of both . Regardless, if the options are Stafford and Howell, Howell is the safer bet. His offense has been more offensively consistent and he has performed well as the trigger man.
