Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 has been teased by producers. Following the huge Netflix fandom, the gruelling reality show has left many of us totally jealous at season 1’s contestants. Many are now asking how they can apply and audition for Squid Game: The Challenge season 2.

The casting call for the first season of Squid Game: The Challenge came out months before filming even started. But before the finale episode has even hit Netflix, fans are eager to find out how they can get applying for season 2. Producers would “love” to do another season – but it’s out of their control.

Stephen Lambert and John Hay, producers of Squid Game: The Challenge, want to do a season 2 though.

“It’s brilliant it’s landed as well as it has, and we’re really enjoying all the responses to it,” Hay told Digital Spy.

“It probably is too early to judge, but we would obviously love to [do season 2]. We think it’s a game with potential, so let’s see,” he added. Going by the positive feedback so far, it’s looking promising.

Squid Game: The Challenge has already topped Netflix UK streaming ratings. Just episode 1 was streamed by around 2 million people in its first five days in the country!

How to apply and audition for Squid Game reality show

If you want to get in line for a potential audition for Squid Game reality show, we can reveal how to apply. All you need to do is head to the casting website and select either the UK, USA or global casting.

Applicants are required to upload two photographs of themselves, have a valid passport for the duration of filming, be available to take part for four weeks, and be at least 21 years old.

You will also be asked to upload a one-minute video of yourself, which includes why you want to be on Squid Game: The Challenge, what your game plan would be and what you would do with the cash.

With the 1 minute video clip and short form answering a few questions, it could be done in just 10 minutes. But if you want to take care in your application form you could spend longer on it!

It’s all in Netflix bosses’ hands

Although Squid Game: The Challenge’s producers are eager to make a season 2, it’s not entirely up to them. The future of the reality show is based on Netflix bosses and the viewing figures.

“That’s all in the hands of our dear friends at Netflix, if they have the desire whether they want to do it again,” Lambert said. “If viewers love the show, and from what we understand, the people do…”

He added: “Netflix will publish numbers for the first week so it will be interesting to see what those numbers are like. If they’re good, then who knows, maybe they’ll want to do another season.”
