Stetson Bennett's arrest video shows his true colors, claimed his reputation was ruined
Ava Arnold Stetson Bennett was arrested back on January 29th in Dallas, Texas due to public intoxication and now the arrest video where he tells police officers that his reputation is ruined has gone viral.
On the night of the incident, the Dallas Police officers responded to the 911 call that singled out the former University of Georgia QB for being severely drunk and banging on doors at six in the morning and that ultimately had him arrested for public intoxication.

The woman who called the police was afraid of Bennett as she claimed that he was making threats and could get violent, "I'm going to ruin your night if you don't open the g**damn door." That is what the woman told the cops about what the former QB said.
The body cam showed the moment when the Dallas officers arrived at the premises and found the QB in an inconvenient state and not very cooperative in answering the questions they were asking.
According to police officers, Bennett had another person's ID in his possession, and he reeked of alcohol. He was then cuffed and put in the back of the squad car, there is where the conversation went south.
"The door shut and somebody fell asleep," Bennett said. "And now five million people gotta see it, don't they? Thank you, boys, for looking out for me. You guys are the best."
He elaborated, "Reputation ruined. Everything I worked for for 20 years, ruined. But ya'll boys just looking out for me, aren't ya? Thank you, sir."
Bennet later addressed the issue publically and apologized to everyone involved
"I understand why that can't happen," he said. "I've talked to coaches about it, talked to GMs. I've apologized to my family. That's whom I felt worse about; I felt like I let them down, because no matter where I go now [people are going to know about it]. Even without all this, I've got an obligation. I'm the fourth [Stetson Bennett]. You can't do that if you're last name is Bennett. I know better."
Even though he was arrested, Bennet is still expected to join the NFL draft this month.
