Patricia Krentcil, better known as Tan Mom, has gone viral on social media once again – this time for her extreme tanning sessions that have made her nearly blend in with a brown leather couch. 

Tan mom couch photo, taken during a recent interview, has been shared widely on social media, with many finding it hard to differentiate between her and the furniture, which seems quite strange. 

Krentcil gained fame in 2012 for her obsession with tanning beds, and she was much criticized for taking her 5-year-old daughter to a tanning salon.

She has since stopped extreme tanning, claiming it was exhausting to keep up with.

However, the recent photo suggests that she may have continued her tanning sessions despite her claims.

The couch photo goes viral on Twitter

The viral photo shows Tan Mom sitting on a brown leather couch, making it hard to differentiate between her and the furniture. 

When Howard Stern showed the photo during a recent episode of his talk show, Robin Quivers exclaimed in disbelief, “I’m telling you that you cannot make her out.” 

The internet couldn’t agree more, with people expressing their astonishment on Twitter.

Some people found the photo hilarious, while others were worried about Krentcil’s health.

One person tweeted, “It’s amazing how well Tan Mom blends into her couch.” 

Another joked, “The pentagon could spend a billion dollars and still not achieve this level of camouflage.”

However, some people were not amused by the photo and expressed their concern for Krentcil’s well-being.

Krentcil’s history with extreme tanning

Krentcil has gained notoriety for her persistent engagement in excessive tanning practices, a pattern that extends back over a significant period of time. 

One notable incident involved her accompanying her daughter to a tanning salon in 2012, resulting in legal accusations of endangering a child. 

However, it is worth mentioning that the court ultimately dismissed these charges. 

Subsequently, Krentcil has faced challenges in dealing with her dependency on tanning and has sought assistance through her appearances on various television programs, such as Dr. Drew’s show, in an effort to find support and guidance.

In May 2022, Krentcil announced on Twitter that she had stopped extreme tanning for the most part and was happy to be less dark. 

She attributed her change of heart to the death of her husband, Richard, who died of colon cancer, covid, and pneumonia. 

Krentcil has stated that she is grateful for her life and wants to be a great mom to her children.

However, the recent couch photo suggests that Krentcil may have resumed her tanning sessions, despite her claims.

It is unclear what led her to continue tanning after such a public admission of her problem.
