Tanya Snyder (Tanya Ivie) is an American personality who earlier had small jobs and later became an entrepreneur by landing the path of modeling. She has been an integral part of the team since her husband purchased or acquired the team in 1999.

Tanya was born in 1962 in Atlanta, Georgia, making her 61 years old as of 2023. She was brought up in the Atlanta suburb of Forest Park as the third daughter among four daughters born to her parents. Her dad was involved in a computer business, and he used to earn millions at that time. But Tanya was nurtured like any middle-class Southern woman. She once interviewed and said that where she was brought up was a big deal and that cheerleading was the only profession for girls. Indeed, cheerleading was everything for women out there in the place.

Tanya completed her graduation in 1980. Later, she started with speech lessons to soften her speaking skills and accent. She also began studying art and design and was only 20 years old when she married. At that time, her husband was a Georgia-based jewelry sales representative, but the marriage could not work, and they divorced after two years. In the mid-’80s, Tanya started taking up modeling projects. She began working in commercials, runways, and print, based in Atlanta.

She started her side business in the garment industry. After that, she got to represent Joan Vass, Andrea Jovine, and other clothing lines. During that time, one of her jobs included handling the showroom 26-foot-long, 10-foot-tall that used to be filled with clothes, and she was about to go from store to store to collect the orders. It was around 1993 when Dan Snyder met Tanya, and both were having their business. While Dan Snyder was famous on his own terms, Tanya owned a showroom, a model, and a commercial representative earning a six-figure income.

Ceo of Washington Commanders

Tanya recently served as Co-Owner and Co-CEO of the Washington Commanders. She is the known integral part of the team since it was taken up by her husband, Dan. It is noted that after 2000, Tanya led the team works toward social and community efforts. They contributed over $31 million to the local community under the Charitable Foundation. She became the catalyst for the significant change and the evaluation of the Washington Commanders (the American Football Team), becoming the future forever.
