Born on 16th August 1985, the famed songwriter has garnered much recognition as a band-member. He attended Malibu High School where it is traced back that he formed a band and showed interest in music since then.

The Dawes has featured with big names. Taylor has named Bob Dylan as one of his inspirations and the band also went on a tour with him.

Taylor and Mandy started dating in the year 2015. 

Mandy Moore is an actress, and the couple met on the social media platform, Instagram. She describes herself as an avid fan of Taylor’s band, as was also apparent from her Instagram page where she featured the band’s soundtracks and described her likeness for them.

As she was an avid fan of the band, her posting of the picture received a response form Taylor himself. He sent a special note to Mandy in response to her picture of The Dawes’ album. 

She would later reveal in 2017 to The Sun that after this engagement, they started emailing and eventually decided to go on a date together. She went on to thank the platform as this encounter would lead her to marry Taylor.

After going on dates for a couple of years, the couple decided to get engaged. Their engagement was held in September 2017.

After a year of their engagement, the couple decided to get married and finally tie the knot. The wedding was held in a unique environment, in an intimate backyard at Mandy Moore’s home with close family members and guests.

Taylor has professed his love for his wife on many songs through his band The Dawes. 

He has also voiced his intentions for doing so. The Dawes’ single Never Gonna Say Goodbye is especially dedicated to Many and was also intended for her to hear alone. It was a for-her-ears only track, which only showcases what his love means.

In an interview given to the BlueGrass Situation in 2018, he explained further about this. “That is the most sacred, private world that I would never dream of wanting any access to. So for me, I was like, ‘Man, this is a very vulnerable moment for me, to say ‘I love you and I miss you,'”

He further described the occasion as a very private confession in which he didn’t want anyone else eavesdropping. 

Taylor Goldsmith’s Children

Their love for each other dates till today and in February 2021, the couple welcomed the arrival of their first born son. They named him August Harrison. 

The news was revealed to the world via Many Moore’s social media post. The son arrived on the due date of his birth. 

The couple described the feeling to something they never experienced before. The mother went beyond words to explain her feelings for the child. All of the actress and the singer’s fans were delighted by the news and sent their praises to the couple.

Just as the world digested this news of Gus, the couple tooko to Instagram again to announce their second child. The post was posted online on 3rd June, just after Mandy Moore’s hit show airing on NBC ended. The show was titled This is Us.

Moore has also sung praise for her children on her songs. As Mandy was already on the fame radar by her single Candy which was released in 1999, this news will follow her going on tour again to perform music. Just like her husband, her show is in Atlanta, Georgia on 10th June. 

“One incredibly seminal chapter of my life just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to start… and are we ever so deeply grateful and excited,” Mandy wrote on her Instagram.

The arrival of the second child has made the parents ‘deeply grateful’. They both are excited for the new younger sibling. In a prior interview given by Mandy to Parents Magazine, she discussed how her life was changed when she became a mother.

She labeled the pos-children life as “technicolor.” The love and affection that life carries with itself was not in front of her and now she understands it by having children. Same is the case with Taylor, as he also can’t wait for entry number two.
