Friendly staff are local Amsterdammers with a good knowledge of the city. You’re a little out of the way, but still comfortably close to major sights. Rooms and loft-apartments come in designer greys and black, there’s a good late-night bar, and staff are friendly and exceptionally Amsterdam-savvy. The apartments are modern and well equipped; staff are super friendly and in the know about what to do and where to go in Amsterdam. Apartments are well-designed, making thoughtful use of space. You're within easy walking distance of the main canals, and a short tram hop from Museumplein. Staff are helpful, and in-the-know about Amsterdam. Apartments are large by Amsterdam standards (great for families), with separate bedrooms (some bedrooms are quite compact, with more space being given to living areas). Sound insulation is good, with noise from the nearby railway minimal. One wall is papered with a giant engraving of a neighbourhood scene, centuries ago.
