The return of Brad on The Challenge has seen fans discuss whether he’s sick. A Reddit thread was launched after his comeback on the January 11 episode, and many are seriously concerned.
One fan, who started the discussion, said: “Does Brad look sick or off?” Other viewers commented: “Ok YES I thought his voice sounded off/sick,” as well as, “His voice did not sound like him at all.”

Brad Fiorenza returns after long break
Brad Fiorenza, who first appeared on the franchise during The Real World: San Diego, made an appearance and chose Kyland Young as his competitor. His last competition was All Stars 3 in May 2022.
MTV host TJ introduced Brad as a “legend” and a “champion.” Brad told cameras: “I’ve had my ups and downs in life, like most of us have. I don’t feel like I’ve gotten to play my ideal game.”
He has appeared on 12 of The Challenge competitions, and while some think his return is a “snooze fest,” many welcomed him back. A fan told Brad they “wish we were getting a whole season with you on it.”

MTV star opens up about mental health
Brad has been open about his mental health journey over the past few months. He revealed he had come to terms with something difficult in his life after powerful meditation work.
As a result of therapy, The Challenge star is changing his name following a family issue, which he says led to his behavior during the end of his marriage and was seen on Vendettas and Final Reckoning.
He said in September 2023 that the name change is “something he’s wanted to do for 20 years” but kept fans in the dark about what the family issue is. Brad then returned to The Challenge after healing.
