The addressee of The Pussycat Dolls’ “React” is the romantic partner of the narrator. More to the point he is submissive, i.e. the type of individual who is not privy to confront her concerning any issues whatsoever. Indeed that particular aspect of his personality has her particularly cheesed off. In fact she has now adopted a “cruel” demeanor towards him simply in the name of getting him to “react”. And she wants him to do something bad, as it is her general understanding that men do have the tendency to occasionally screw up.
