The Rock Celebrates Throwback Thursday with Awesome High School Photo | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Andrew Mccoy There was always that one kid in high school who was a little bit bigger (read: unusually tall and ripped) than the rest.
Some kids were probably scared of him, while others knew he was nothing but a gentle giant—either way, he was probably plowing through kids on the football field, and although girls liked him, they didn't want to have to explain to their parents that their prom date wasn't actually a grown man.
In the case of 16-year-old Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, his 6'4", 225-pound frame was so intimidating, his classmates just assumed there was no way he could be a student. So obviously he must have been an undercover cop.
At least that's what he wrote on his Instagram post Thursday—which, in defense of those kids, is a totally fair assumption.
Really, the freakish size aside, what kid is walking into the DMV to take his driving test with a full-blown mustache?
Thanks for the throwback gem, Dwayne.

#TBT By the time I was 16 yrs old, I had already enrolled in four high schools across the country due to being evicted and lil' trouble with the law.. McKinley HS (Honolulu, HI), Glenn Cliff HS (Nashville, TN), McGavock HS (Nashville, TN), Freedom HS (Bethlehem, PA). I was also 6'4 225lbs, rockin' a dead caterpillar on my lip (aka the porn 'stache) and all the kids in every high school thought I was an undercover cop cause I looked like a mutated, yet handsome SOB of a man child. Plus in Nashville I was already hangin' out in honey tonk dive bars on Music Row and hustlin' cars from crackheads. Yup, one of the many reasons why I'm a grateful man for the life I have today and also grateful I straight up kicked puberty's ass early in life. #GodBlessSamoanAndBlackGenetics #AndGodBlessOurTeenageYears #AndWTFWasIThinkingWithThisMustache
