TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia Hijabfest is back again. Entering its 11th year, Indonesia Hijabfest continues its commitment to supporting the hijab and modest fashion industry.

First held in 2012, the event which brought together designers, business people and hijab fans showed various types of Muslim clothing for women and children.

Being the first hijab expo in Indonesia, the 11th annual Indonesia Hijabfest will be held from November 2 to 5, 2023 at Sabuga, Bandung.

For this year's event, founder of Indonesia Hijabfest, Sheena Krisnawati, said that Indonesia Hijabfest will not only showcase hijab fashion products, but will also have a series of activities ranging from fashion shows, make-up classes, talk shows, to concerts.

According to her, this event aims to provide a platform for local modest fashion industry players who are just starting out.

"Previously there was no special event that introduced the name hijab," said Sheena when met at the Indonesia Hijabfest 2023 press conference, Melawai, Jakarta.

" So at this event, we want to educate and provide brand awareness for those who don't have a platform for expression yet," she explained.
