Tom Brady's NSFW retirement rant not what it seems: Jim Gray's answer might surprise you
Jessica Wood Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady's latest statements about his decision on whether or not to continue for his 24th NFL season have set the Internet ablaze. It seemed he was upset with Jim Gray, who is the co-host of the Let's Go! Podcast, on which they both appear each week along with legendary former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
Long story short, the seven-time Super Bowl winner cursed a couple of times on air when Gray asked him about whether he had a time frame to make a decision on his possible retirement. These two characters are known to have a very good relationship so the QB's outburst came as a surprise.

Is the Let's Go! Podcast script planned?
After that, Sports Illustrated's Jimmy Traina interviewed Jim Gray, the first question was clear, was this weird exchange planned, is there a script on the topics covered in the podcast?
"No, he doesn't know what's coming," Gray said. "We do have conversations or texts about who's coming on or what's going on or what we think, and this was pretty obvious."
But perhaps a more surprising response from Gray is knowing that he and Brady haven't spoken since the quarterback was eliminated along with the Buccaneers in Monday Night Football's Super Wild Card Weekend by the Dallas Cowboys, who defeated them by a resounding 31-13 score.

"We hadn't spoken to him since Monday night since that loss," Gray said. "So it's kind of obvious what we're going to discuss. But, no, we didn't go over that, but you would expect that the audience would anticipate that we would have some sort of an update on if he had a decision or when he might make one."
Finally, to another question on the subject, Gray said that he has been surprised by the reaction of the people, since Brady uses this kind of expressions all the time and that he just has fun using them, he also said that he does not believe that the ex-husband of the Brazilian top model, Gisele Bündchen, will make the announcement about his future in another chapter of the aforementioned podcast.
