His love for Rock N’ Roll, from the 60s to the present, collecting antiques and comic books reflected his deep appreciation for the richness of the past and the present.

Tom’s love for his son, Phoenix Parrish Smothers, knew no bounds. He was a dedicated father, always eager to listen and engage in discussions on current events and politics, displaying respect for diverse opinions. 

Tom’s infectious smile and warm demeanor instantly put people at ease, and he went above and beyond to make others feel embraced in his presence.
