In the midst of their highly anticipated Ready To Be world tour across North America, TWICE has captured the hearts of fans with unforgettable performances.

However, among the unforgettable moments, an incident at one of their shows in Chicago sparked a discussion about concert etiquette.

During the encore segment of the concert, as fans eagerly passed gifts to the members, an unexpected turn of events occurred when an item was thrown on stage, hitting Dahyun on her side.

The surprised member managed to maintain her composure, seemingly assuring the fan responsible that it was alright.

While the thrown item appeared to be a harmless soft stuffed animal, the incident raised concerns among many fans.

They expressed that regardless of the nature of the item, throwing anything on stage without permission is not only rude but also potentially dangerous for the artists.

Regrettably, TWICE isn't the only K-Pop group to face such incidents. During NCT DREAM's The Dream Show: In A Dream tour, fans also threw items on stage, and unfortunately, some members were hit as well.

Although considered "minor" instances, the consequences of such actions have been evident in the past few weeks.

The concern over on-stage safety isn't confined to K-Pop idols alone. Even American artists have had to grapple with similar occurrences

. For instance, Bebe Rexha recently suffered an injury above her eye when a fan threw a phone during her show, requiring stitches. Country singer Kelsea Ballerini also had to take a break from the stage after a bracelet struck her in the eye.

These incidents underscore the potential physical and psychological harm that artists can face when items are irresponsibly thrown during performances.
