Conor McGregor has crossed a line in his bizarre Twitter spat with Hasbulla, as McGregor called the 19-year-old a 'smelly little inbred'.

Hasbulla has been looking for a big-name fight for years and though he was looking at stepping into the boxing ring, the Irishman took the initiative to bring the issue to a head.

The social media sensation is good friends with Dagestani fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor's arch-nemesis who beat the Irishman in 2018 to take his lightweight world championship.

"I'd love to boot that little g**p Hasbulla over a goal post," McGregor tweeted in an extraordinary rant.

"How much to get him on the volley?

"I'm gonna make it my mission to score a 3 pointer with him one day, hon the gaa."

And he rounded it off by saying: "Smelly little inbred."

However, Hasbulla wasted little time in responding to his aggressor.

"I don't follow bums... didn't know someone was running their mouth," he shot back.

"@ me next time @TheNotoriousMMA."

"At least one of us kept an undefeated record. Hasbulla 1. McGregor 0."

This all comes on the back of previously more light-hearted banter between the two.

Hasbulla recently named his new chicken Conor McGregor, and posted a video with it taunting the 34-year-old Dubliner.

"This is my chicken, named Conor McGregor. There's my beauty," he said.
