Viktor Kharitonin’s $1 Billion Net Worth

Viktor Kharitonin is a Russian businessman with a net worth of $1 billion. He is the founder of Pharmstandard, a pharmaceutical company in which he has a 38% stake. Kharitonin started the company in 1993 and, with the help of billionaires Roman Abramovich and Evgeny Shvidler, purchased plants from US ICN Pharmaceuticals Russian to set the foundation for Pharmstandard. The trio spent $55 million on the acquisition. The company now has a market capitalization of over $3 billion.

During the 2007 IPO in London, investors valued the company at $2.2 billion. Pharmstandard is known for producing drugs like Arbidol. Kharitonin is also building a network of private clinics in Russia.
