Natalia Oskar, winner of the Miss Russia pageant, has immediately become a trending topic around the world due to the harsh criticism she has received on social networks after her triumph.

The 34-year-old model and mother of a son was heavily criticized for her appearance (her forehead was shining) and for her alleged cosmetic retouching, especially on her lips.

The organization of the gala pageant defended its new Miss and defended her from criticism arguing that the photos (which on its official channel appear retouched) had been taken from a bad angle: "We are very surprised by the reaction of the audience. The photo is a mistake, it is taken from below and she is completely different in real life".

The British newspaper 'The Telegraph' published that most of negative comments Natalia Oskar received came from Ukraine.

"It seems that Russian Botox really doesn't work successfully on that creature. She looks more like some kind of monster," one user criticized Natalia Oskar, who beat 82 other women in the beauty contest.

"Wasn't there anyone without silicone?", "Are the judges blind?", "It's scary to imagine the rest of the contestants" or "She looks like a meme", were other comments that could be found on social networks.
