Jeffrey Dahmer had murdered 17 men and boys before he was apprehended. During his 1992 trial in Milwaukee, Jeffrey got formally charged with 15 counts of first-degree murder.

Jeffrey was a serial killer from the US. Biography.com said he was born to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer on May 21, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

According to his father, Jeffrey’s childhood hernia surgery caused him to become a more reserved person. He withdrew from activities, got tense, and isolated himself.

According to the New York Times, he was an active member of the high school band and an intramural tennis player.

The publication said that following his semester at Ohio State University, Jeffrey enlisted in the United States Army and got later honorably discharged.

Around 14, Jeffrey says he started fantasizing about necrophilia and murder.

Why did Jeffrey Dahmer get famous?

In 1978, Jeffrey committed his first murder. He finished high school. And Jeffrey picked up hitchhiker Steven Hicks. And this drove him back to Ohio to live with his parents. 

Jeffrey drank with Hicks. And he had sex with him, then smacked Hicks in the head. And he strangled him with a barbell when Hicks tried to leave.

That was always something I felt was incorrect. “The first murder was unplanned,” Dahmer told Inside Edition in 1993. In 1978, I was on my way home from the mall. 

My wildest fantasies involved picking up a hitchhiker. And bringing him home. My main thing was exercising full authority and control over him.

Even more horrifying (if that’s possible) is the fact that he allegedly had intercourse with some of the corpses, preserved certain body parts, and ate others between the years of 1978 and 1991.

During the trial, one of the detectives testified that he “put Crisco on the bicep, softened it with a meat tenderiser, and fried it on a skillet,” as reported by The Washington Post.

Dahmer explained for over a decade; no one knew what was happening.

Who is Alice Jeff Dahmer In Serial Killer Story?

In Season 1, Episode 9 of Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story, a character named Alice was mentioned. Now everyone is trying to figure out who she is. Alice, the scene suggests, entered the picture as a Jeffery Dahmer supporter.

It occurred while Jeff Dahmer was doing time in prison. Jeff was perusing the mail he had received from loved ones and happened to open Alice’s letter first. 

Alice assured him in her letter that she was his number one fan. She went to the trouble of sending him a five-dollar bill.

She explained to Dahmer that his classmates had dressed up as a Dahmer impersonator for Halloween in honor of his fame. Alice continued by saying that Jeff’s homicidal fantasies got turned into a comic book.

It is an excerpt from her letter to him: “Dear Jeff, my friends think I’m crazy for writing to you, but I wanted to say hi. Is it not evident that you’ve become a Halloween outfit? 

There were three boys at my school who dressed up as you for Halloween, and the reaction was so adverse that the next year no one was permitted to come in costume. 

It is pretty cool. To this day, I still enjoy a good scare. Can I expect a visual response from you? And I just mailed $5 your way. If you write to me again, I will send more. I am Alice, your biggest fan.

Jeffery Dahmer indeed answered Alice. He responded with a hand-drawn illustration and his signature. He assured her of his love again.
