Who Is Brian Varela? New Details Teen Sent Photos Overdose Dying Girl Alyssa Mae Noceda Sexually Assaulted Her
Sarah Rodriguez Police have charged a 19-year-old Washington man with rape and homicide of an 18-year-old girl who overdosed on drugs while inside his mobile home.
According to the Herald Net, Alyssa Mae Noceda met Brian Varela at a party last Saturday night. They went back to his house and she reportedly overdosed on drugs.
However, while she was dying, Varela texted photos of her to his friends.
"LOL I think she od'd, still breathing," he reportedly wrote in one message. He also indicated that he was having sex with her while she was in that condition to "pass the time. "
Varela's roommate told police that he saw Noceda alive after 9 p.m. Saturday night. But by Sunday morning, she was dead.
According to Varela, the girl had taken multiple drugs that caused her to overdose. The roommate supposedly told him to call the police, but instead, Verela went to work at Dairy Queen.
It was there that he told his co-workers that a girl died while having sex with him. He said he didn't call for help because he was "too tired."
He also said he put Noceda's body in a plastic box and made plans to bury her when he got home.
One of Varela's co-workers called police after they saw Facebook posts from Noceda's mother that indicated she went missing Saturday night.
The teen was arrested at his home and he reportedly gave officers a detailed account of the crime. He said once he realized Noceda had died, he used her thumb to unlock her phone and post a message to Snapchat suggesting she was running away.

Police found Noceda's body stuffed into a plastic crate inside his mobile home. During his hearing on Wednesday, he appeared to be smirking.
