For all future and current Hollywood stars, if you want to attend the Oscars, don't salp the comedian hosting the Awards.

The motion picture academy banned Will Smith from attending the Oscars or any other academy event for 10 years following.

The move comes after a meeting of the academy's Board of Governors to discuss a response to Smith's actions.

The academy said in a statement, and called out Smith's actions "unacceptable and harmful."

Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's hairstyle. However, according to Chris Rock's brother, Kenny, Chris was never aware of Jada's alopecia condition.

In fact, Chris Rock was part of an alopecia campaign in support of women who suffered from this condition. After the event, even Jada Pinkett believed her husband overreacted.

Kenny Rock wanted Smith banned

Kenny Rock was one of the first people who openly speak about banning Will Smith from the Oscars.

"Every time I'm watching the videos, it's like a rendition that just keeps going over and over in my head," Kenny said.

"My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show."

"I know that if he knew that she had alopecia ... he wouldn't make a joke about that. But he didn't know."

Since the episode between Chris Rock and Will Smith, the award winner actor will seek expert help to deal with stress at a celebrity rehab clinic.
