Our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and friend Willie Samual Carter also known as “Pete or Peaches” was born May 22, 1965 in Norfolk, Va to Shirley Christian-Carter & Larry Christian Sr. as their first born. He was educated in Norfolk Public schools, he joined the military at a young age & continued residing in Norfolk majority of his life married to his wife of 43 years and raising their children & grandchildren.

“I will tell you one thing” is how he loved to start off his conversations. He was raised with 7 brothers & sisters who he loved and cherished and didn’t mind popping a bullet or 2 to keep them in line. He was the eldest so he was a protector first and soft as tissue next. He was family oriented, loved to cook, chuckle up some jokes, take boat rides to fish with his sons, and breed dogs. He lived by 3 things in his life and that was Protection, Family, and Respect. He didn’t take no back lip from no one not even his siblings, he always had to have the last word and oh don’t ask him for no money but you can take a trip to the store to get him a pound cake and some ice cream. August 31, 1988 is when he married the woman of his life, the creamer to his coffee Sylvia Carter. They was together for 43 years & raised a family of 5 children & 3 grandchildren. 2 Daughters, his smoke April Barrett-Wimbish (Kenny Wimbish), his red Shanika Carter: 3 sons Willie Carter, Jr to him as Lil Pete, then his baby boy Brandon Carter(Jennifer Banks-Carter), Corey Perry. 1 granddaughter Jurnee Carter, 2 grandsons Trevion Lewis & Zy’Aire. He has 4 brothers Anthony Carter (Shelia Carter), the late Larry Christian Jr, Stanley Christian Sr. ( Roschel Davis), and 3 sisters Dorothy Christian-Young (Late Renard Young), Vernice Christian, and the late Sherita Christian. Lets not forget the love he had for his dogs Cocoa, Blue, and Bobo. He was also well loved my a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family & friends. 

He will be predeceased by his mother & father Shirley & Larry Christian, Brother & Sister Larry Christian Jr & Sherita Christian, Brother & sister in law Renard Young, Shelia Carter, and Renita Edwards.
