Zodiac Signs Who Are The Biggest Liars, Ranked

There are some people that, when they speak, every word that comes out of their mouth is a lie. Sometimes they’re just big liars, and other times they’re more tellers of tall tales. Even their horoscope can't always pinpoint if someone is more likely to tell the truth.

Some of these “flexible with the truth” people pretend to be experts on things that they nothing about it. They want to feel important and knowledgeable, even when they’re not, and can be very convincing with their false information.

Sometimes people who are full of crap have lied so for so long that they have no concept of the truth and no ability to be honest. Their natural inclination is to lie, even when it’s not necessary.

There are signs to look for when someone is full of crap. Do they avoid eye contact or give too much eye contact? Do they repeat your questions back to you (giving them time to think up a lie) and do they rarely keep their promises?

Here are the zodiac signs who are the biggest liars and are full of crap, ranked from most to least.

1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

It's surprising that someone who is so down to earth can also be completely full of crap, but they are. Taurus will try to turn the tables if they suspect that their deception will be found out. They'll gaslight you and make you think that they're deception is all in your head.

The best plan of action with a Taurus who is prone to lie is to take everything they say with a grain of salt. They can be expert liars when they want to be.

2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

Geminis are very adept at being social and they're great conversationalist. But when you put those two characteristics together, you get someone who is socially full of sh*t.

They'll tell you how fabulous you look, even when you're not feeling your best. They tell all kinds of white lies to make you feel at ease. Is it wrong for them to purposely stroke your ego if it makes you feel more comfortable?

They're generally not malicious in their stretching of the truth, it's just that it comes so easily to them. And while you might think they have ulterior motives, they usually don't.

3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)

Part of being a Leo is being able to build oneself up, even if it means exaggerating. They'll pad their resume and give themselves credits they don't have, or they might pretend to have read or seen something so they don't appear unintelligent.

Leos can be huge gossips and storytellers. If it takes a little lie here and there to make a story more interesting, then Leo has no problem with it. If they brag about something that doesn't possibly seem true, it probably isn't.

4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)

Virgos will lie if it's about upholding their image or self-preservation. They don't want to say that they're broke but that seems much nicer than saying they never lend money to anyone. And you know that they didn't lose their phone or the battery was dead, they just didn't feel like talking to you.

If a Virgo is full of it, notice how they won't be able to look you in the eye.

5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)

A Libra will lie to you in order to avoid a conflict or hurt you. They'll be the first to say how great last night was when they're thinking that there'll be no need for a repeat in the future.

Libras are charming, but if they continue to call you sweet nicknames even though you've told them your name several times, it's because they've forgotten and don't want to seem like a jerk.

6. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

Aries aren't huge liars; they generally do the outrageous and impossible things they say they do. They may fudge the truth if it's to hide their ignorance and keep up with a conversation.

If you're talking about a subject they know nothing about, rather than admit they don't know, they'll just nod their head and say things like, "Wow," or "Too true." They also may pretend to be interested in what you're saying when they really just want you to wrap it up so that they can talk.

7. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

Scorpios prize their honesty, but they can be incredibly full of themselves. They may say that they don't kiss and tell, but if they feel as if they've got to compete in the locker room talk, they'll definitely embellish their stories of sexual conquest.

It's not lying, it's just stretching the truth and it doesn't mean that it won't ever be true.

8. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)

Cancers may be full of it when they break up with someone with the classic "It's not you, it's me" line when actually, they are done with you. They don't want to hurt your feelings with the knowledge that they're not sexually attracted to you anymore or they just don't feel that close to you anymore.

Cancers are kind and they really don't want to be the bad guy in any situation, so they'll lie to avoid looking like an jerk.

9. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)

All the new and exciting experiences that Sagittarius says they have, they actually do, and they're also not one to spare someone's feelings as they can be blunt.

However, they can be flaky on their promises and instead of coming clean about not wanting to cat-sit for you, they'll just make up some reason why they couldn't do it. Broken promises are still deceptions, even if the intention behind them isn't malicious.

10. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)

While Capricorns may occasionally stretch the truth a little, they're not completely full of sh*t. They may say they have talents or skills that they don't in job interviews or they may tell a client that they can get the project done earlier than expected, but they don't do it lightly.

11. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)

Pisces don't want to bring other people down, so if someone asks them how they are and Pisces is feeling crappy, they'll say that they're fine. Pisces are more likely to believe someone else's load of crap than spew some of their own.

If they say that they love your friends, maybe limit the interactions that Pisces has with them for a while until they can relax enough to see if they really like them or can at least tolerate them.

12. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarians are more inclined to lie to themselves than anybody else. They might say they're giving up wheat or dairy and then have a sandwich and a glass of milk. They really do intend to start working out next week, but their start date keeps getting pushed back.

They're smart and they know they're lying to themselves, but they still will congratulate themselves for thinking about taking a step towards achieving a new goal.
